MESOP : THE “CAESAR REPORT” IN EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

The European Parliament exhibited Syria’s Caesar report today, 80 journalists/MEPs/staffers showed up at the press conference, many more visited the exhibition – which ends tomorrow- so, thank you all for the teamwork, grazie ARi Faand Nour Bakr and many more for 2-3 months of internal and external fights to get this shown at the heart of Europe, here at the European Parliament.

Crimes against humanitiy are ongoing, in Syria, this is not a commemoration, this is happening. Over 150,000 prisoners and disappeared since 2011. 310,000 killed. But let’s focus on ISIS and forget about Assad?

–> Stop the bloodshed. Don’t talk about reconciliation with Assad, if you actually want to get real. People are not stupid, Syrians will not forget. We need to understand Syria’s tragedy in all its complexity, from a peaceful revolution to an armed conflict.
