MESOP SOUTH KURDISTAN (IRAQ) – KDP responds to Duran Kalkan (PKK Senior Leader)
2015/04/16 – 5:24 PM – KDP responds to Duran Kalkan – Waar, Duhok: Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) has criticized the Member of Executive Committee of the Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) and said that his comments were against the unity of the Kurdish nation. KDP in a statement said that the comments recently released by Duran Kalkan could only said by “enemies” and not a leader of a Kurdish party. Earlier, Kalkan had accused the KDP, the ruling party in Kurdistan Region, of dictatorship and said that such a party should not lead the region. The statement warned that such comments were “threatening” and called on all parties to take action against him.
