MESOP SHORT CUTS KURDISTAN – Barham Salih: Drastic fall in PUK membership / PUK FINISHED SOON ?
21.3.-2014 – Lvinpress – Barham Salih, former PUK deputy Secretary General, has announced that PUK membership has fallen sharply since 2005 from 600,000 to 51,000 members. Barham Salih resigned from his position last month as a result of the leadership crisis that the PUK undergone since the September 2013 Kurdistan parliamentary elections. He has made a proposal to PUK leaders for a program of changes to renovate and rehabilitate the PUK, stating that otherwise the party will be consumed by more crises. (Lvinpress)
