MESOP : PKK A MONOPOLY PARTY / There are only 30 PKK forces in Shingal: official
7-9-2014 – Kurdpress – A leader of the ruling Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) blamed the policies of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and claimed there are only 30 member of the party in Shingal, an Iraqi northern city that fell to the control of the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga and the PKK.Abdulsalam Barwari told the KDP official website that the PKK policies have failed and its leaders are seeking to blames Kurdistan region for their failures.
Calling the PKK policy monopolistic, Barwari said:” the PKK makes us to reveal the realities. The Kurdish parties in northern Kurdistan (Kurdish regions in Turkey) are suffering from the party’ monopoly and the public opinion is well aware of the reality.” He went on to say that PKK has failed to free Turkey Kurdish regions and now it has come into Kurdistan Region to hoist its flag. “It has come to a region that is recognized internationally. It has its own parliament and government.” A former parliament deputy, Barwari went on to say that the geopolitical situation of the Shingal mountains have given the PKK- affiliated Peoples’ Defense Units’ (YPG) forces an upper hand and now “the PKK is trying to reimburse their wrong policies in the region.”
He also added the PKK leading official Cemil Bayik behaves like an enemy of Kurds and asks the international community not to send arms to the Kurdish region that is at war with the militants of the Islamic State.
