The Syrian rebels working with Turkey on Tuesday accused the People’s Protection Units (YPG) of firing a mortar shell with toxic chlorine gas injuring up to 20 in the Bulbul district. Sources on the ground claimed to Ragıp Soylu, Washington correspondent for Turkey’s Daily Sabah outlet, that no such chemical attack by the YPG had occurred. Now it turns out, at least according to the viewpoint of the YPG, that Turkey accidentally used chemical weapons on its own proxies.
