MESOP NEWS TODAYS : PKK PREPARING FOR WAR AGAINST KURDISH BROTHERS & SISTERS – PKK Sends Reinforcements to Sinjar (South Kurdistan – Iraq)

Basnews English – 10/03/2017 – SINJAR — Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has increased the number of its forces and deployed further military equipment in Sinjar.

According to the information obtained by BasNews from a confidential source, PKK has deployed further reinforcement to Khanasor area in Sinuni subdistrict of Sinjar on Thursday. The deployment of forces by PKK follows the confrontation that broke out last Friday between PKK and Peshmerga in the area. The source revealed that the PKK deployment consisted of three humvees, two armoured vehicles as well as five military pickups all of which were brought from Rojava (Syrian Kurdistan).

Previously, Saeed Hasan, the PKK commander in Sinjar, told Afaq TV that the clash that emerged between the PKK forces and Roj Peshmerga in Sinjar is not over yet, noting that they are preparing for a greater confrontation. www.mesop.de
