10 Jan 2018 — The judicial and constitutional committee at the Turkish parliament is reportedly planning to sack Kurdish lawmaker Leyla Zana for missing sessions.
The parliament is set to discuss the case on Wednesday. MP Zana is from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), a pro-Kurdish party which is in competition with the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP). www.mesop.de
