MESOP NEWS : KURDISH TRAITORS = THE OILY TALABANI’S – “Traitors of 16th October” Involved in Kurdish Company Ban from Operation in Kirkuk: MP

Basnews English – 09/01/2018 – 22:44 – KIRKUK — The treacherous faction within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) which acted against the Kurdish interests in Kirkuk and brought the Iraqi army to the Kurdish province last October, is now behind Baghdad’s decision to ban the Kurdish oil company “Kar Group” from operating in Kirkuk, said a lawmaker. The Iraqi parliament decided during a session last Monday to prevent Kar Group from working in Kirkuk oilfields, another decision viewed as a move against the Kurds for their September’s referendum on statehood.

MP Islam Hussein told BasNews that some PUK lawmakers, namely Alla Talabani and others affiliated to the faction involved in Baghdad’s incursion into Kirkuk, were supporters of the decision.“Obviously Alla Talabani and other traitors of 16th October are involved in this decision as well,” Hussein claimed, referring to the date the Iraqi army and Iranian-backed militias of Hashd al-Shaabi overrun the Peshmerga forces in Kirkuk province. “These people do not utter a word which could serve the PUK or the Kurds in general.”However, the Kurdish MP pointed out, it is merely a decision and not a legislation that could prevent Kar Group from operating in Kirkuk oilfields. www.mesop.de
