MESOP NEWS FOCUS : Mr. TILLERSON AS A CLOSE COMRADE IN ARMS !? – Syrian Kurds best US allies in fight against IS: official

13 Jan 2016 – MESOP  – US nominee for the Department of State, Rex Tillerson, stated that Kurds in Syria are best allies of his country in fight against the terrorist group of the Islamic State (IS). According to Hawar News, Tillerson stated that Washington would continue to back Kurds in Syria, adding that the U.S. will attempt to make a balance between Turkey and the Kurds. Turkey has labeled the later as a terrorist organization and believes it has close ties with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) which has been fighting with Turkey for more Kurdish rights since 1984.
