MESOP IRAQ – Masum: Ongoing consultations to form a new government are promising

20-8-2014 – Shafaq News / Fuad Masum, the President of the Republic described on Wednesday, the ongoing negotiations and consultations among the political blocs to form a government headed by Prime Minister-designate ,Haider Abadi as “promising.”

Masum said in a statement reported for “Shafaq News” during a meeting at al-Salam Palace in Baghdad that, 20 delegations from gathering of Middle Euphrates clans that “ The consultations are ongoing to form a new government are promising, and it would be a broad-based and there would not be any marginalization of any component,” He expressed his hope that “this government is working to meet the requirements of Iraqis to provide services and fight corruption”.
