MESOP INSIGHT : Cezîre sent half million dollars to Kobanê Ministery of Defense

4 April 2014 hawarnews –  Based on the policies and diplomacy of defense and calls for mobilization against the attacks of al-Qaeda affiliated ISIS groups, Cizîre Region sent half million dollars to Kobanê Region Ministery of Defense.

The statement regarding the money sent to Kobanê, was released by the Executive Assembly of Kobanê Regional Democratic Autonomy: “Upon the the YPG’s (People’s Defense Units) call for mobilization and defending Kobanê against the radical Islamist groups, Cizîre Region sent half million dollars to us. We thank to them and state that defending people in Kobanê is our most legitimate right. We call all the Kurdish parties and organizations to support us so that we can defend our autonomous regions and peoples living with us.”
