9 Aug. 2015 – mesop – Big danger is threatening Kurdistan Region: former Peshmerga minister

The former minister of the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga warned that a big danger is threatening Kurdistan Region as tensions are increasing among political parties in the region.

Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, a Peshmerga commander, told about a threatening letter Peshmerga commander wrote to party leaders and officials in the region that a dire situation is threatening the region. He stated the letter was to warn the region’s leaders about achievements have been made by the Kurdish forces.Mustafa added the region will entangle in a very dangerous situation if the political crisis and disputes among parties remain unsolved, adding that only war mongers would benefit from crisis in the region. It is worth mentioning that a number of Peshmerga commanders, including Sheikh Mustafa, asked in a letter from political leaders in the region to refrain from further crisis and tensions and attempt to “protect achievements Peshmerga martyrs and forces have made for the region.”
