11.9.2021 .The Iranian bombardment is mostly shelling by tanks; they have used drones as well but the majority of the bombardment is through tanks.
For the 3rd day in a row: Iran is bombing what it claims to be Iranian Kurdish rebel positions in northeast Erbil (mapped below). The timing of the escalation raises questions given that the rebels have been present there since the 90s but they have been quite inactive.
