ANF – Amed 07.04.2014 – Kurdistan Industrialists and Businessmen Association (KURDSIAD) has announced its foundation after submitting a petition to the governor’s office of Diyarbakır. The Association was initiated by a group of Kurdish businessmen from various circles.
KURDSIAD Founding Member Abdulbaki Karadeniz said in a statement outside the governor’s office that they would provide detailed information about the association at a press conference to be held in the coming days.
Karadeniz said they would be performing their works with the businessmen living in Kurdistan, and the Kurdish businessmen in the business life. The KURDSIAD member remarked that their objective was to create brands based on identity, culture and language by leading works together with the individuals that have feelings for Kurdistan and want to contribute to the Kurdistan economy. Karadeniz stressed that they would start to perform their works although they expect to face problems regarding the “Kurdistan” expression in the association’s name before receiving an answer from the Ministry of the Interior.
