Kurdish National Congress seeking a seat in the UN / But are not in the position to realize their own congress in time : postponed again
The Kurdish National Congress, composed of diverse Kurdish parties and lines in the four countries of Iran, Turkey, Iraq and Syria, is seeking to win a seat in the United Nations, NRT said in a report.
Quoting a member of the congress’s preparating committee, Qafour Makhmori, the report said the Kurdish body has been asked to put all its efforts into winning a seat in the UN. Kurdish National Congress is an organization with its own rules and is representing the Kurds, that’s why it is eligible to ask membership in the most important international organization, Makhmori added. Postponed for two times, the Kurdish National Congress is scheduled to be held in November 25.
