Iraqi Kurdistan Vice President talks about self-determination right for Kurdish people

February 24, 2014 – shafaaq-com – SULÊMANÎ, Kurdistan region ‘Iraq’:  Kosrat Rasul Ali, Vice President of Kurdistan Region, said on Sunday that there is a good chance for the Kurdish people to announce the formation of self-determination and Kurdish State.

Rasul, who is also deputy secretary-general of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK, led by Iraqi President Jalal Talabani stressed that there is no population in the world of 50 million people without entity, referring to the Kurdish people. This speech came as he was receiving secretary and the heads of 11 parties in the Kurdish National Council in Syria and discussed with them the situation in the Kurdish -majority areas in Syria. A statement from Rasul office that “The problems of Kurds everywhere is similar and currently there is a good chance in front of the Kurdish people. He expressed his wishes that the Kurdish people would reserve its unity and to deal wisely with the situation to get to the historic achievement of their aspirations.

The Vice President of autonomous Kurdistan region stressed the need to preserve the unity of the Kurdish people in the Kurdish areas in Syria in order to achieve all the rights of the Kurdish people there.
