TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – ARTILLARY ATTACK ON THE REGION OF ZAP
On 18 February at around 17:30 hour, the occupier Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the area of Ciyaye Res/Zap/the Medya Defense Areas.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – AIR-BOMBARDMENTS ON THE MEDYA DEFENSE AREAS
1- On 20 February in between 20:00-21:00 hours, the war planes of the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the surrounding area of the Village of Lewce/Kandil/the Medya Defense Areas.
2- On 20 February in between 20:00-21:00 hours, the war-planes of the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the surrounding area of the Village of Dergine/Metina/the Medya Defense Areas. As a result, many of the grape-yards and the gardens belong to the villagers have been damaged.

1- On 22 February, the occupier Turkish state army carried out artillery bombardments on the Mount Cudi, all day.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – MILITARY OPERATION IN MARDIN
In the night hours of 25 February, the occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas of Benave, Xanture, Gozgore, Pezeke and Serekaniye, in the district of Nusaybin/Mardin. The military operation still continues in these areas.

The present deputy Mayor of Silopi, Husnu Yildirim, has been spreading assertion and rumors against our Guerrilla Forces within the people.
These assertion and rumors spreading by this person do not reflect any reality at all. This person has seized the votes of our people’s will and later made a hidden agreement with the AKP. This person then began to instigating family hood and tribe hood in the area in order to damage the national unity of our people.
With all our respect to the people of Botan, we state this and call on our people in Silopi to be sensitive on this issue.

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC – AIR-BOMBARDMANTS ON THE REGIONS OF ZAP, KANDIL AND GARE
On 26 February in between 11:00 and 22:00 hours, the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments three times on the areas of Kuro Jaro, Ciyaye Res, Dola Sive and Gunde Fillah/the Zap Region/the Medya Defense Areas. The air-attacks have continued until late night hours and the occupier Turkish state army also air-bombarded the Village of Sile, in the Kandil Region, and the Village of Siyane, in the Gare Region/the Medya Defense Areas, on the same day in between 23:00-24:00 hours.
As a result of these continues and intensive air-attacks 4 of Guerrillas of Kurdistan have been martyred. We will be sharing the I.D. details of our martyred comrades in the coming days.
