Haj Amedi – A rare independent & free-thinking persons has to leave PJAK leadership (MESOP)
PJAK changes its leader – 03.05.2014 – BasNews, Iran – The Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK) has changed leader after ten years.
Following a secret voting process, party members chose to remove Rahman Haj from power. According to source the voting mechanism will be different from past ones. As well as changing the party’s leader, PJAK decided to vote two other officials in as president and co-president of the party. Five officials have been been candidate to run as leaders: Avin Zilan, Avindar Urmia, Rezan Jawed, and Revar Abdanan. PJAK announced during a press conference that they would publicly announce the next leader once he was elected.
