Free Syria Army members take shelter in YPG

10.10.2013 –  hawarnews – KOBANÊ – It is stated that members of Free Syria Army attacked in Sirîn and Reqa by groups of Iraq Islamic State and Damascus (DAIŞ) take shelter behind YPG (People’s Defense Units) forces in Kobanê. It is remarkable that those who take shelter in YPG ranks had previously attacked Kurds with DAIŞ.

According to the information received, armed gang groups of DAIŞ attacked armed groups of Free Army in Sirîn Region and there have been clashes between two groups. It is pointed out that during the clashes many members of Free Army were killed. It is also remarked that the members of Free Syria Army, most of them are Arab, come Kobanê and take shelter behind YPG. At the members’ request, YPG saves life of their families who are in danger because of the attacks.
