First Deputy of PUK Sec-Gen Attends PUK Executive Body & PUK Offices, Centers Meeting

18.3.2014 – MESOP –  On March 17, 2014, First Deputy of PUK Secretary General Kosrat Rasul partially attended a meeting held by Chief and Members of Executive Body of PUK Political Bureau Mala Bakhtiar, Hakim Qadir and Omer Fatah with chiefs of PUK Organizational Office, Election Office, Erbil, Sulaimani, Duhok and Khanaqin-based PUK Organizational Offices as well as a number of PUK senior cadres.

Prior to the meeting, Mala Bakhtiar shed light of the emerging political developments in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq as well as the internal issues within PUK. In discussing the general goals and strategies of PUK, First Deputy of PUK Secretary General Kosrat Rasul pointed to the constant effectiveness of PUK within the outline of national struggle, reaffirming his full commitment for the PUK to unify its lines and reenergize its public base in order to make a ground for the achievement of the goals of the Kurdish nation.

As for the upcoming elections of Iraq and Kurdistan Region, Chief of Executive Body of PUK Political Bureau affirmed that all the PUK comrades regardless of their different opinions have similar destiny, attaching the importance of fulfilling the obligations in accordance of the PUK’s bylaws and policy so that the position and status of PUK remain strong on the context of the policy system in the Kurdistan Region.
