Demirtas lashes out at Erdogan

30.5.2014 – Kurdpress – The co-Leader of pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Selahattin Demirtas harshly lashed out at Turkey Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who warned he will go to a B and C plan if Kurdish parties in the southeast of the country do not mediate in brining back the teenagers who have joined the Kurdistan Workers’ Party.
Erdogan blamed two times in three days the PKK for “abducting” the teenagers and asked the BDP and HDP to mediate and bring back the joined teenagers to their families.Some 33 families are holding protests in front of Diyarbakir municipalities and want their children to be returned to them. Demirtas met the families of the teenagers and vowed to talk to the PKK officials. He, however, harshly slammed Erdogan and said the PM is better to know his status and his power and measure himself before any remarks. He further added the Kurds will not stop in asking for their demands and said after the upcoming presidential elections, Erdogan will find out how powerful the Kurdish parties are
