KIRKUK — Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has recently stationed hundreds of guerrillas across Kirkuk province, northern Iraq.

The exact number of forces, according to the information obtained by BasNews, is nearly 350 guerrillas, who have set up checkpoints in some areas.The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), which has the main political influence in the province, has shown a green light to the PKK for the recent deployment, said BasNews reporter from Kirkuk. He further explained that there are reports indicating that the PKK has also started recruiting people, including teenagers and youths.
