Britain’s Channel 4 profiles Mohammad Khalil, also known as Abu Jaefer, the last coroner in opposition-held east Aleppo city:When the day comes when we have someone who is able to bring justice to the people of Syria, we will be happy to provide them with all the documents they need.
Perhaps to prevent this — or to add further hardship to the families of the dead — Russian and regime warplanes have attacked the morgue three times in the past two months. Several staff have been killed and the building damaged.
