Syria Islamic Parliament found in Istanbul
15-4-2014 – Kurdpress – The Syrian Islamic Parliament announced its existence in Istanbul on Monaday, AHABER said in a report.
The Syrian opposition parliament was launched after a two-day meeting between the oppositions to the government of President Bashar al-Assad who stated two days ago that he is gaining ground in the civil war of the country that started three years ago. The Parliament’s Speaker Osama al-Refaei stated 21 persons were elected as the members of the parliament, adding that most of Syrian opposition parties except the extremist Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) and Jabhat al-Nusra have their deputies in the legislative body.
